. « CANADA AND NEW ZEALAND READY By Telegraph—Press Association-Oopyricht (Rec. May 12, |0.23 a.m.) Ottawa, May 11. Sir "Wilfrid Laurier, in the House of Commons, announced that Canada aud New Zealand, were ready to contribute their shares towards the All-Red route, and awaited action by Great Britain and Australia. He understood that Australia was not Teady yet, but hoped for a definite result from the discussion of the project at the Imperial Conference, NEW SERVICE TO FAR EAST. Ottawa, May 10. The Canadian Northern Railway Company has secured the mail contract from London to Hong-Kong. The Canadian Pacific Company formerly had the contract.
Tho question of a Canadian-Australian mail service is to bo discussed at the Imperial Conference.
