Christchurch, May 1L The annual, convention of tho New Zoa» land Grand Lodge was clossd to-day after a sitting which lasted from 9.30 a.m. until noon The business dealt with mauers affectin" the internal working ot. the lodpes. This afternoon the visiting brethren were taken for a motor drive around the city and suburbs. A reception was held, during the afternoon at tho house of Mr. J- J. Dougall (DeputyGrand Masicr), at Pendalton, and in the eve "ing a toll was held in the Alexandra Hall.
