A Wellington firm has been advised by cable that the total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending April 2!) ,anioiinte'd to 103,000c\vt., as compared v;ith (lß,Qoocwt. for the corresponding .period' of last'' year, an indreaso of 15,000cwt.
The market is very dull, continued the cable. Quotations are: Danish, 1125.; New Zealand 108s.; Australian salted, 100s.; Australian unsalfed 10Is. The market'is steady at 61s. 6d. per cwt.
