NO-LICENSE LEAGUE.
The monthly meeting of the AVellington South No-License League was held in the Church ot Christ, Riddiford Street, on Monday evening, under the chairmanship of the Rev. C. A. Sinnns. The Rev. A. Dewdney gave a stirring address on the need of combined and personal effort. He contended that the abolition.of the liquor traffic was in the beot interest of the people of the Dominion morally, mentally, and physically. During the evening Miss Dix and Miss Luke contributed elocutionary items.
