WAR IN MOROCCO.
NEW SULTAN PROCLAIMED. SITUATION AT CAPITAL BECOMES WORSE. SULTAN CLAMOURS FOR RELIEF. ( By TekKraph—Prijss Association-Oopyricht (fee. May S, 11.5 p.m.) Tangier, May 8. Although the Sultan of Morocco is clamouring for the speedy arrival of relief, as tho situation at Fez has becomo worse, it is feared that Colonel Brulard's flying column of 3000 strong, now en route from Casablanca, will be another fortnight in reaching the capital. The delay is due to the piecemeal formation of the force and the fact that the French colonial battalions do not possess in peace their, full'complement of horses and mules. These have had to be requisitioned from Algeria and elsewhere. ■ The ambulance and other rearward services will be dispatched as the transport facilities allow after the troops have embarked.
