BUSINESS FOR TO-DAY. JUDGMENTS TO UK DELIVERED. . The Court of Appeal will deliver judgment this morning in the following live cases:—(!) The Law Practitioners' Act in re. J. I'. J'ullcn', solicitor, Auckland; (-') licx v. William Ernest Dauc, a question of the interpretation of the verdict of the jury'in- the trial of Dnwe, an Auckland tramway motonnan on a charge of manslaughter; (") Edward liutler Harrison v. Waimate County Council, claim for compensation for land taken under the. Public Works Act; (■}) Executors of Elizabeth Knox, deceased v. Commissione: 1 of Stamps; (5) Skcet and Dillon v. Nicholls, an appeal relating to water rights under the Mining Act. The Court will afterwards hear the appeal of the New Zealand Educational Institute against the decision of Mr. Juslice Chapman on an application for interpretation of a clause of the Education Act. His Honour decided that the Wanganui Education Board acted within its powers in refusing to admit children under Standard II to a district high school. The case of George and Doughty v, Nash, which was next on the list has been postponed owing to the illness of one of the counsel engaged.
