A 28-STITCH WOUND. It appears that other men were present when the altercation took place, and M'Cann was pushed down the steps outside tho stago door bv the man who has since liceu arrested. M'Cann got up and struck him, and tho other, it is alleged, then struck MCana in the face with a beer bottle. The affair is to l>o investigated ia tho Magistrate a Court to-day.
