LAND UNDER OFFER. . Tho authorities hope at an early date, to bo able to decido upon sites for the first lot of workers' houses in Wellington. Several oilers of land have come to hand, and arc under consideration. Selections will bo mado in various parts of the city. The essential feature of the now conditions is that workrnou may have their homes practically where they please, provided of course the Labour Department approves, and the. expenses arc not a hindrance. As previously stated, a largo number of applications from workmen aro being attended to by tho Department.-
