Tho centenary of 'the death of the Bow Dr. George liny, whose death occurred on October 15, 1811, will be celebrated by the ro-rcli.?ionists of tho deceased prelate this year. It has been proposed, with the concurrence of the Bishops of Scotland, and nt thn expressed desire of many leading Scottish Roman Catholics, lay and clerical, to commemorate the event by a series of celebrations. It has been settled that the date of the celebration should bo Tuesday, Wednesday, anil Thursday, September 12, 13. and It. and au interesting programme will be prepared. The place agreed upon is St. Benedict's Abbey, Fort Augustus, where arrangements can be made for the accommodation of a considerable number of visitors,
