Tests of 5001 eoivs had been made in Taranaki, he continued. The highest yield was 2971b. of butter-fat, and the lowest 1371b. If the rvcrago, as indicated by those lierds. could be increassd by 501b. the result to the Dominion would be an increase in produce equal to .£1,194,000 a year.
