IMPORTED FRUIT.
A BUSY WEEKEND. \ This week-end has been a very busy ono in the' "Wellington market. The Navua, from . Fiji, arrived- yesterday morning. She landed 6000 cases and 6000 bundles of .bananas; a big proportion of which wero in bad condition. Good green bunches sold at from 2s. to 4s. each.. Cases went for from 6s. to 135., according to quality. As only a portion, of the cargo was got to the market in time for yesterday's sale, the balance will be sold this morning. On 'Thursday the Maitai arrived
from Cook Islands. The .."Wellington cargo consisted of 602 cases of bananas and 1870 cases of oranges. The oranges brought 7s. to Bs. 6d. on tho- market, and tho bananas 6s. 6d. to 7s. 6d.
Mildura lemons arrived yesterday and were sold at from 10s. to 14s. per bushel case.
South Australian grapes realised lis. to 14s. per 241b. box. , Sydney passion fruit was quitted at 7s. to.'Bs..per half gin case.
