COLLEGE GOVERNORS.
MONTHLY MEETING. A meeting of tho Governors of the Wellington College and tho Girls' College was held yesterday. Mr. A. do Urandon was in the chair, and other mombors present were: Messrs. 11. Lee, A. Warburton, W. F. Ward, W. H. Field, M.l\, and Miss Richmond. Tho accounts passed for payment amounted to £519 14s. for tho 'Boys' College, and £379 for tho Girls'. Tho question (raised by Mr.. Leo at a previous meeting) regarding the teaching of Latin in the colleges was' held over until the members have had an opportunity of perusing tho reports which have boon submitted by tho principals of tho colleges. A meeting for tho purpose will bo held on Friday nest at 3 p.m.
