TWO VALUABLE HEREFORDS.
IMPORTED FROM BRITAIN, By the Rotorua, which is due to arrive to-morrow, two valuable Hereford bulls are being brought to New Zealand. The importer is Mr. Ernest Short. Tho two animals are Goldfinder and Eaton Oak. Goldfinder was bred by Mr. J. H. Price, of Abercray, Trecastle, Brecon. Goldfinder was calved on January 27, 1910, and is, therefore, about fifteen months old. Eaton Oak was bred by Mr: C. T. Pulley, of Lower Eaton, Hereford. The animal was calved oh Slay 30, 1910, and is, therefore, about eleven months old. The bulls are being imported through Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Their prices are not made known, but it is stated that the figures arc high. When Mr. Short returned from England by the, Rotorua some months ago he brought the foundation of a Hereford stud with him.
