MORRIS-TUBE MATCH.
Last evening a Morris-tube match was fired between tho Wellington and Petono Working Neil's Rifle Clubs for the Gas Company's shield. Aperture sights were used, and the result was a win for the Wellington Club with 358 points, Petonn scoring 316—a difference of 12 points. The respective scores read as follow:—Wellington Club.—lT. C. Woods, 35; M'Bain, 32; Nixon, 32: Gamble, 31: Francis, 30; Curry, 30; Julian, 30; Fitzgerald, 20; Ryder, 28; Reston, 2S: Smith, 28; Griffiths, 25. Petone Club.—Henderson. 33; Kirk. 32; Hogg, 31; Stone, 30; Villars, 30; Forsyth, 20; Elder. 20; M'Ewan, 20; Pettitt, 28; Sims, 27; May, 25; Price, 23.
