rUSHING ON THE REGISTRATION. Returns to hand for the third week's registration for military training of the eligible male population in the Wellington military district are as follow-.— Wanganui group: Wanganui, 40; Hunlerville, 53; Feilding, 36; Palmerston N., 77: total. 2HG. Instructions have been issued from headquarters to all area oflicers, to visit the outlying portions of their respective districts for the purpose of pushing on the work of registration, 'which is proceeding rather slowly. It is again, emphasised that every male inhabitant who was Between the ages of It and 21 on March 1 last must register before 7 p.m. on June 2 next, otherwise the penal clauses of the Defence Act will be enforced. All that is now required to bo done is that tho persons who arc liable under tho terms of the proclamation calling upon all concerned to register, shall go to' the nearest post office, ask for a form of registration, fill it in—it. is a simple document—place it in the official envelope supplied with it, and post it to the area officer. If more convenient, those wishing 'to register may do so by seeing the area officers personally.
