Jacobs and Co.—Laying and fixing water services and stop taps 2VO 6 0 I'. Hudson and Co.—Supplying . and delivering sanitary pipes, etc 910 0 0 N. -Andrews.—fins engine, suction plant, and pump 1250 0 0 W. Crabtreo and Sons—Mailhole and lamp-hole covers and frames, etc 80 8 0 Channels and distributors will probably cost about 70 0 0 Total 10,485 17 7 Tho engineer's estimate was ,£0528, without. the usual allowance for contingencies, but did not include a considerable amount of the work tendered for, and, in addition, the price of sanitary pipes has recently been raised about 20 per cent.
