BODY FOUND IN A RIVER, (Ey Telegraph-I'rosq 'A«>wlsiHon.i Thames, April 2G. Tho body of a middle-aged man was' found in tlio Thames Rivor near Kopn last night. It was brought to Thames and placed in the morgue. The body has not been identified so far, and no one is reported missing, though the body must have been in the water many days. PHOSPHORUS POISONING. Auckland, April 2G. A young woman named Iran Jansen, who was admitted to the public hospital yesterday, suffering from phosphorus poisoning, died 10-day. Declared was a resident of Reynolds Street, Freeman's Bay. How she toulc the poison, whether accidentally or otherwise, has not been made clear. An inquest will be held to-morrow morning. SUDDEN DEATH. Duncdin, April 20. Mrs. Leary, wife of Jlr. J. I'. Leafy, chemist, of Mosgiel, died very suddenly this morning. She was 01 years of age. EXPIRED IN ME BATHS. Dunedin, April 20. David Flvnn, aged seventy-eight, who resided at South Dunedin, was found dead in the hot salt water bath at Si. Criur baths yesterday afternoon. He visited the baths at 3.30, and, 45 minutes later, the caretaker, who had become anxious, made investigations, and found i'lynn dead, ihe cause of death was heart disease.
