4 By Tclceraph-l'ress Association-Cop.vrisht (Rec. April 23, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 22. Lord Desborough presided at, a meeting of the Sports Committee in connection with th« Festival of Empire. The. athletic events were arranged as follow:—Juno 2i: 100 yards, quarter mile, mile, and hurdle races. Juno 21): Boxing and wrestling. July 1: Swimming, 100 yards, and mile events. The various governing associations will control the meeting.
