Hudson and Smith, Featherston, improved apparatus for treating flax; W. Egglefon, Bnnnythorpe, an improvement relating to spanners for screw nuts;; A. Eraser, Melbourne, means for securing horse and cattle rugs; !•'. Raymond, Invcrcargill, improvements in the treatment of phormium tcnax;P. Marino, London, electrolytic apparatus; R. Sheppnrson, Queensland, an improvement in the teat cups of milking machines; Messrs. Watkins, Tycr and Tolan, Ltd., Wellington, improved wrapper for postal and other purposes; C. Graaff, Berlin, improvements in methods of apparatus for extinguishing fires. On Sunday at St. Feter's Church the annual harvest thanksgiving services will be held. The annual meeting for parishioners will be held next Tuesday night.
