She proceeds thence . to Tasmania to load timber for New Zealand. At daylight this morning the F.-n.-S, steamer Kent leaves Wellington for Timaru, Lyttelton, and lAvonmouth. Rosamond, s.s., left Onolninga for New Plymouth and Wellington at 3.30 p.m.' yesterday. She is due here to-morrow afternoon, and leaves on the return trip via Fictou and Nelson, at midnight on Monday. En route from Greymouth to Wellington, via way ports, the Jlapourika resumed her passage from Weslport at noon yesterday. She is scheduled to leave Nelson for Wellington direct at 6.30 a.m. to-day, and should make port about 4 o'clock this afternoon. An expected arrival in port to-morrow is tho Union Company's eoltier Pohcrua. The vessel discharges part of her cargo here, . and the balance at Lvttclton and Timaru. Last evening the Union Company's steamer Kitrow sailed for Kaipara, where she loads up with timber for Sydney. Tho Blackball Coal Company's collier rtgahcrc comes off tho Patent Slip this morning. At present the tug Tornwhiti is having an extra lOin. pump installed. She will undergo her annual inspection and survey shortly. On Monday the Kaiapol is expected to leave Wcstport for Sydney with a load of coal for the Admiralty. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer lua Ora came alongside the King's Wharf - yesterday afternoon to complete dischargo of her London cargo. It is hoped to dispatch her for the Bluff to-morrow. Having completed the discharge of (ha Wellington portion of her Liverpool cargo the barque Ariel was taken to an anchorago in the stream yesterday prior to tailing lor Dunedin. It is expected to dispatch R.M.S. Tainul for Lyttelton with the balance of her llom« cargo to-day. The vessel will be placed • under the big crane to-day to have a 15. ton lift of machinery taken out.
