BELFAST SHIPBUILDING.
. * INTERESTING SPEECH BY MR, G. WOLFF. By Tcleeraph—Press Association— Oopyricht .(Rec.. April 21, .10.45 p.m.) London, April 21. Mr. G. Wolff (of Messrs. Harland and Wolff, the well-known shipbuilders), in acknowledging the gift of the Freedom of the City of Belfast, recalled tho time when twenty-three years ago lie and Mr. Harland proposed to start a shipyard at Liverpool Harbour. The authorities, however, replied that they were too young to start such an undertaking. ' Tho'y accordingly moved to Belfast, where the firm was now employing fourteen thousand men.
