The Manawatu and Weft Coast Caledonian Society held its annual gathering on the Sports Ground to-day, in the presence of a very large attendance of the public. The weather was fine, though a cold easterly wind, blowing across the ground, was not favourable to comfort. The officials worked well, and kept the sports moving.
