LACROSSE.

Mr. A. H. Casey, of Wellington, who is at present in Christchurch, proposes to establish a Lacrosse Club in that city. Mr. Casey is an ardent enthusiast of the Canadian national game, and has been instrumental (says a southern paper) in forming lacrosse clubs in both Wellington and Auckland, the game proving very popular in those centres. Annually, representative matches arc held alternately in each centre.
