LACROSSE.
Mr. A. H. Casey, of Wellington, who is at present in Christchurch, proposes to establish a Lacrosse Club in that city. Mr. Casey is an ardent enthusiast of the Canadian national game, and has been instrumental (says a southern paper) in forming lacrosse clubs in both Wellington and Auckland, the game proving very popular in those centres. Annually, representative matches arc held alternately in each centre. It is proposed Hint a meeting of those interested in the introduction of the game in Christchurch bo held (luring Mr. Casey's stay there.
