Regarding tho alleged financial and administrative irregularities in tho cash accountancy Departments of tho Ministry for l'oroign Affairs, into which a scarcung mquivy « llow i )eing he)d M. Hammond, Director of the Accounts Department, has been suspended ponding the result of tho investigation it is understood that tho allowed irregularities are totally unconnected with the caso against Roulot (a clerk n the French Ministry for Foreign Aiiairs), who, with Maimon (a Mohammedan, naturalised in England) and Pnllier (Maimon's secretary), is charged with stealing French State documents and offering to sell them to other Powers.
