GATHERING OF 'VARSITY MEN.
THE ANNUAL RIVALRIES. (By Tclegrap'.i.—Press Association.) Auckland, April 14. The visiting representatives of the southern colleges who are to participate in the New Zealand University tournament arrived in Auckland by tho Main Trunk express to-day. A civic ■ reception will be tendered to tliem to-morrow morning. The first of the contests— the tennis championships—will be played off to-morrow. In tho evening tho debating contest will place, and, on Monday, the athletic champion-, ships will be decided.
