PEACE OVERTURES REFUSED,

The Government lias informed General Madero, Hie insurgent leader, that it does not intend to receive peace overtures, and that hostilities have been ordered to be prosecuted vigorously. EXCITING MOTOR CHASE. FLEEING RANCHMAN' GOES THROUGH EVERYTHING. (Kcc. April 0, 5 p.m.) Mexico City, April S. A band of marauding insurgents iooted. a ranch belonging to the Cudahy Packing Company of Chicago, and attempted to capture the manager.
The manager fled in an automobile, the rebels pursuing and shooting at him for 15 miles. The car dashed over rocks and ditches and through fences, and finally crossed tho frontier safely. Tho Mexican Federal troops arrived on the scene later. They are preparing to bssiege Mesicnli, where the marauders have taken refuge.
