MEETING OF COMMITTEE,

Ihe following remits for consideration ' th l m-L autl V - Conference were approved: inat where land of a suitable naL Ur< L am l conveniently situated is offered to tHe Agricultural Department for experimental purposes by an A. and P Association, the Department be urged to accept of-same and pay all expenses in' connection with the working of the said lands and the conduct of experiments thereon. That, in connection with pri-vately-owned telephones, where there are more than two subscribers on one wire tho Postmaster-General be urged to materially reduce the telephone fees for each subscriber.

The president (Mr. W. Perry) and J[r. D. MGregor, jnn. wore appointed dolegates to the conference. The report of the meeting of the Finance Committee, presided over bv jr r Cr. C. On the motion of Mr. 0. C. Cooper, ifc was decided to. recommend to the incoming committee that a subcommittee be set up to go into the question of allotting prize money for the next programme.
