FATAL EFFECT OF A KICK. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyricht Hawera, April 7. COll. Boyle died in the hospital on Thursday from injuries received as a result of a kick in the abdomen from a on Sunday last. Deceased was popular among sporting people.
FOUND DEAD. Auckland, April 7. Matthew O'Hara, aged 58, a gumdigger, was found dead in a wharo at Riverhead yesterday. Ho had been very ill for weeks, but had 110 medical attention. An inquest is being held today.
TOOK ROUGH ON RATS. Dunedin, April 7. Andrew M'Kenzie, 71 years of age, living by himself at Waitai, was discovered this morning in a critical condition. Ho informed tho police that he had taken rough 011 rats, and his removal to the hospital was ordered. Ho died to-uight beforo reaching tho institution.
