WELLINGTON POULTRY SOCIETY.
QUARTERLY MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society was held on Wednesday night, when arrangements were made for the annual show to be held in June. Four solid silver cups were given by fanciers to the society ior competition, to be won twice before becoming the property of tho winner. Two of tho cups are for pigeons and two for poultry. The North Island Association notified that the championship for poultry in the North Island will also be held in Wellington in connection with the show.
