At a meeting of the Feline Technical School Hoard last evening ' Hie sub-com-mittee appointed lo inquire into the ad-vi.-nbilitv of establishing d::y classes reported that it had learned that the Education Department did not favour tho substitution ci technical day classes in place of secondary high school teaching, it was decided to confer with the High School Committee and to ascertain tho Jpinion of the Kduation 1.-or.-d and Minister tor Education on the matter. It was further revived lo disiniimie tho classes in steam and v'gnv.ritin;; at the cad of the present o.uarter unless at least cig'it niipils offer themselves in any of the subjects.
