ANTI-CHINESE RIOTS.
DISTURBANCES AT BIRKENHEAD. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyricht (Rec. April 4, 10.10 p.m.) London, April 4. Anti-Chinese riots have taken place at Birkenhead in consequence of alleged insults by Chinese to white women. A mob of three thousand invaded the Chinefe quarters, and stoned and assaulted the police, who were compelled to make a baton charge. The excitement continues.
