It limits (he hours of shop assistants vu 00 in any one week, and provides for tho cessation of work on one week day at 2 p.m., and on two other week days not later tlmn S p.m. Overtime under (he Bill would bo permissible to a limit of 'JO hours in (he year in shops where all assistants are allowed a holiday of not less than two weeks on. full pay; to a limit of 75 hours in the yetir in shops where all assistants are allowed a holiday of not less than ono weeki and to a limit of 60 hours n jear in other shops.
