Tho Oriental Bay tramway concession tickets will be available on and after to-day. For tho last few weeks crowds of people have visited the wharves to see the departing Sydney steamer away. Last night, however, war: an exception to the rule, for only about two hundred people remained to see tho Marama off. The reason was that the vessel was 6} hours lato in taking her departure, and did not leave tho wharf until 11.45 p.m. . She- took 510 passengers from New Zealand, of whom 260 travelled saloon and 250 steerage. A 'special permit was obtained whereby the vessel was allowed to carry 74 extra passengers.
