NATIONAL LEAGUE.
THE EXECUTIVE ELECTED. At the general committee meeting of tho National League held ou Thursday night thero were twenty nominations for an executive of twelve members. Tho ballot resulted in tho election of tho following:—Messrs. Y\\ H. D. Bell, J. A. Bruce, F. J. Courtney, J. B. Fitzgerald, E. J. Fitzgibbon, John Fuller, jun., E. F. Hadfield, M. F. Luckio, V. Meredith, H. P. Bawson, E. W. Scalnn, and AV. 11. Turnbull.
The executivo will meet on Monday night to draft a constitution and policy which will bo presented to tho General Committco for approval early as possible. About 40 new members were added to the league during the evening.
