• (By. Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, March 29. The Auckland Aeroplane Syndicate's Howard Wright biplane made a successful flight at Papakura early this morning. Tho pilot, Mr. V. Walsh, has been practising on the ground whenever possible, ar.d has made a few short flights. Last week he had the misfortune to damago his machine shortly before a public demonstration was to have been given and not many people have actually seen the machine.in the air. This morning's flight was about 100 yards in length and 20 feet high. The air was calm at tho time, and both the flight and tho landing were made without trouble. A rising wind, however, prevented further flights being made.
