SWIMMING.
SWIFTS CLUB EVENTS. The Swifts Swimming Club ended a record racing season at the Te Aro Baths yesterday, when a 75 yards Autumn Stakes Handicap was decided. This race brought the total number of races held by.the club during the season to 40, exclusive of heats. The race resulted as follows:—N.. 11. Stone, Msec, 1; H Jenkinson, Bsce., 2; W. G. The winner sot home by a fcot, the remainder being bunched Time, G3 Msec. ,A 50 ynrds handicap race was hold at Te Aro Baths on Wednesday by girls from the Terrace School. Crowther—who tied for the Mission Cup in the 220 yards and 410 yards distances for that trophy, swam off .-: at To'Aro Baths last evening.
