Vezey Strong, in presiding at a notable gathering of the promoters of the movement, said that, "bo far as he was aware, everything ho ate, drank, and wore came'from within the Empire. I'he present movement was pro-British, but not anti-foroign. It was only natural that they should want to trade with their fellow-subjects in the United Kingdom, ind with their brothers throughout the Empire. ■
