Cardinal Moran, interviewed here, referred to the pleasure ho felt at the idea of an Anglo-American Arbitration Treaty. He advocated a Triple Alliance—England, America, and Germany. Such a combinatioa"would be able to enforce the claims of peace, and be the crowning work of Christian civilisation.
