As a mere man he had to decide whether ihe.'c switches and other "whal-you-call-'oms" were made by plaintiff or not. Jt seemed to him an extraordinary thing when people, especially women, came into Court and said what they had. It was very unpleasant. Someone was lying, and it was for him lo say who. Judgment would be reserved.
