' By Telegraph—PrcssAssociation-Oopyrisht Sydney, March 24, • Mrs. Newell, wife of Andy Newell, a prominent cricketer, vho disappeared some timj ago, has been awarded £200 damages against tho "Sun" newspaper for publishing an article purporting to have been founded on a letter received by a friend from Nowell, in which the latter stated that ho went away for reasons of a domestic character. ' Defendants ' wcro granted a stay of proceedings.
