MILK SUPPLY.

PROPOSED MUNICIPAL STATION. Tho Abattoirs, Milk Supply mid Publio Health Committee of the City Council was authorised last evening to take all steps necessary for the establishment of a milk station for the city of Wellington, in accordance with tho provisions of the Wellington City Milk Supply Act, 1910. It was agreed (hat as early as possible the site of the proposed milk station and pious .thereof, with an estimate of cost and of the animal revenue and expenditure in connection therewith, bo submitted lo'tho council, together with a recommendation as to tho total sum which should be placed before the ratepayers to be borrowed by way of special loan for the establishment of such station. In addition, steps are to lie taken to promote a Hill giving t"he council the nccessary authority for combining vith the milk station cool chambers for tb» storage of perishable products.
