Towns (4S?cc.) 2 George Day (ISsec.) .1 Ripley was never overhauled, and won a good race by a length. Second Heat. Norman Towns (Usee.) 1 W. West (TSsec.) 2 S. M'Lean (75sec.) 3 Towns gradually forged through and won by two lengths, after a great finish with tho other placed men. J. Arnst pushed M'Lean hard for third place. Third Heat. F. S.
