13Y TIIE CITY POLICE. Two youths, who have been living it an old wharo at Happy Valley, ileal Brooklyn, were arrested on Saturday by Detective Cassells and Mason and Constable l'earee, of Brooklyn, 011 several charges of breaking and entering in the city and suburbs. A quantity of property, which will requiro explanation, was l'ouiul in Hie wharo, and the lads will appear at the Magistrate's Court this morning, when they will probably ba aiked to answer to the following charges:— (1) 011 March 14, at Brooklyn, committing theft of Is. 6d., the property of Robert Haynor, from (lie dwelling of li. llaynor. (2) 011 March 15, at Brooklyn, breaking and entering (he Brooklyn Publio School and stealing a bunch of keys, two lead pencils, two coats, one whistle, 0116 mackintosh, 0110 cake of soap, and 0110 towel, value about £3, the property of Frederick Hempleman. (3) 011 March 12. at Wellington, breaking and entering the Technical School, Victoria Street, and stealing therefrom 20 bottles of jam and five books, the property of the Wellington Education Hoard. (f) 011 or about March G, at Wellington, committing theft of ten books, valued at about. .£lO, [lie property of tlio Wellington City Corporation, and from tho Wellington Public Library. (5) On Markli 17, at Brooklyn Library, committing theft of four books, valuo about ,£l, UlO property of the Wellington City Corporation. One of the boys will 1* charged separately with having, 011 March IG, at Brooklyn, committed theft of 2s. Old., tlio property of John lienge, and the other will be charged separately willi having, on March 17, at Brooklyn, committed theft of two packets of tobacco and one liox of chocolates, value 55., the property of Harry Allen.
