ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
COMING FROM THE RACES. (By Telegraph.—Press . Association.) Westport, March 19. Michael Williams, president of the Westport Labour Union, a widower with a family of five, attended the races yesterday,, and, this morning, was picked up on the side of the line between the race.course and Westport, with a gash on the back of his head, and a scar on his forehead.' He died iu the .Hospital this afternoon. It is not known whether ho fell off tho train or' was knocked over by a passing train. FALL FROM A HORSE. A carpenter named Stanley Jonef, residing at Kelburne, fell off a horso yesterday and fractured his left arm. He was removed to the hospital for treatment.
