SECRECY AT THE SUPREME COURT Tlio interesting litigation which was alluded to in this paper last Thursday, awl is still being freely discussed in town, was advanced a stage yesterday morning, when the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout), sitting in Chambers, delivered judgment upon a question that had been raised in comicction with tho ease. Reporters were not present. A ' representative of Tun Dominion - made application in tho usual quarter for a copy of the judgment. This was refused. Subsequently a letter in the following terms, signed by the reporters of certain newspapers, including TnE Dominion, was sent to the Chief Justice • Supreme Court; . . . (Press Tabic), ■ March 17, 1911. To His Honour the Chief Justice. Sir,— AVe respectfully beg to ask your permission to publish tlio judgment in , which, wo understand, was delivered by your Honour this morning. Yours respectfully, The Chief Justice, immediately after receiving tho above note, saw Tbjb Dominion reporter. Tho judgment waa not forthcoming.
