HOCKEY.
THE PALMERSTON CLUB. The annual meeting of the Palmerston Hockey Club was held on Wednesday evening. Tho balance-sheet showed a credit of £3 Os. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—Patron, Mr. D. Buiclt, M.P.; president, Mr. J. A. Nash; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. S. Dixon, L. Georgi, J. Rodgers, J. S. Watchorn, H. J. Canton, H. Sinclair, J. Innes, J. Robertson, and Mrs. J. Adams; captain, Mr. T. Shcerin; secretary, Mr. H. Canton; treasurer, Mr. F. Kinnear; delegates, Messrs. Trimrose, Park, and Canton; general committee, Messrs. Shcerin, Primrose, Park, Kinnear, Mortensen, Bennett and Hall. Nine new members were elected.
