. 4 A NAPIER CASE. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) Napier, March 17. A compensation case was licard at tho Arbitration Court to-day before Mr. Justico Sim-and Messrs. Scott., and M'Culloch, employers' and workers' representatives respectively, in -which Arthur Edward Walker claimed from Horace Baker and Son and Tudor Nugent Baker 30s. a. week, from October 18, 1910, money alleged to.bo due under the Compensation Act, 190S, claimant having sustained injury tendering him unfit for work. Evidence was given to the effect thai Walker was paid till October 18, when payments ceased. Doctors' reports suggested that another operation niiglit benefit claimant..- An order was made for tho payment of 30s. a week from October IS last, to be continued till payment of £300, in accordance with the Act. The Court advis?d claimant, t-o submit to ah operation. If by that claimant was so improved as to bo ab!o to work it would* bo open, for tho insurance company to apply for cancellation of the order. Costs £7 7s. were allowed, respondents to pay. witnesses' expenses. • ' .
