—. o ■ POPULATION OF NEW SOUTH WALES. By Telegraph—Press Arsociation—Oopyrteht (Rec. March 17, 0.25 a.m.) Sydney, March 16. A disputo concerning the population of New South Wales has arisen between the Federal, and State Statisticians. There is a difference of 26,000, between the two sets of.figures, and this means a difference of over .£33,000 in the Federal payments to'the State, which are calculated on a population basis.
