SHOTS FIRED.
FOUR MEN AND A GIRL. i3y Telccraph.-Fress Association.! Napier, March 14. A man named J. Hannay was charged at the Magistrate's Court this afternoon w.ith firing shots at three men last evening, and was remanded till to-morrow. His statement is that the men molested him when taking a girl ■ home-' from a picture show, and afterwards waylaid him near his own residence at Colcnso Hill. ■ Ho then went into the house and got a shotgun, and discharged both barrels' with tho object, he alleged, of frightening the men. He also states that only ono man was struck by a pellet, the others being uninjured.
