WOODGER IN AUSTRALIA. ' Bcfcrring to the arrival in Sydney of W- Ai Woodger, 100 and 220 yards amateur champion of Australasia, who is en route ■' to -London for the Festival of Empire : games' and English championships, the Sydney "Referee" says-a-reception--had • been decided upon at the Sports Club at noon, and the secretary (at the request of the committee) undertook to meet the steamer. During his stay in Australia Woodger has been sight-seeing, and witnessed the Test match. He was also initiated into the delights of shooting the breakers, camp life at Freshwater Bay, etc., and generally had a good time.
